About the SOS Project

SOS stands for Sharing Ocean Science for Responsible Business. Within the consortium, five different organizations from across Europe (France, Greece, Italy) have joined forces to better understand how science can contribute to making businesses more sustainable. The aim was to prototype products that enable companies to create awareness and innovate while becoming more sustainable, not only economically but also for the oceans.

Although the process is complex, the most significant step is raising awareness. To that end, the benchmark toolk below allows you to assess your company's current position regarding ocean responsibility, based on current knowledge and understanding. The benchmark offers various tools that could benefit your company at its current stage. For companies ready to make the transition, there is a motion design video that demonstrates and promotes how scientists can contribute to business sustainability and innovation.
